WHY CERTIFICATION?

Babywearing Educator (BWE)

  • Certification for beginning or volunteer babywearing educators helps demonstrate skills and knowledge in respect to babywearing education.

  • The community of volunteer babywearing groups benefit from heightened visibility to parent groups, birth workers, healthcare and child care organizations, and other groups who work with children and their caregivers.

  • Certification training provides a framework of knowledge and competency to those teaching beginning babywearing to their members or clients.

  • Certification creates support for volunteer babywearing groups and provide opportunities for continuing education that supports skills to teach babywearing and to work with caregivers.

WHAT YOU GET FROM BEING CERTIFIED
